Question: You approach a dangerous bend.
Are you allowed to overtake a cyclist, who rides on the road, on the left?
I asked a couple of people and every single one of them told me different things. Are we allowed or not guys?

Re: Question 8224
It's not prohibited ...
... but you MUST always be able to see if you can safely do so with regards to traffic coming the other way.
There's a whole list of conditions where overtaking is prohibited ... but that list doesn't apply to overtaking cyclists (ie on a 1 or 2 wheeled cycle)

Re: Question 8224
I have it even worse, my question 8224 says:
"You approach a dangerous bend.
Are you allowed to overtake a cyclist, who rides on the road, on the left who wants to turn left?"
I answered no. If the cyclist wants to turn left, I should pass him on the right? Or it depends where the cyclist is on the road, left side or right side?

Re: Question 8224
GRO, was this question changed ?
You can't tell either way unless you know where the cyclist is riding on the road and wether the cyclist has already indicated left
The question doesn't clearly state either
Though we may assume the cyclist indicated already as the question states he wants to turn left
A driver MUST overtake on the right if another driver has indicated he wants to go left, AND has moved over to the left (or middle) of the road in preparation to do so
If either condition is not met, the cyclist shall be overtaken on the left

Re: Question 8224
You approach a dangerous bend.
Are you allowed to overtake on the right a cyclist, who rides on the road on the left side and who wants to turn left?
Yes
If a driver wants to turn left, slows down and positions himself on the left side of the road (left indicator on, or arm to the left), then you are allowed to overtake on the right.
