Hello,
The brochure says the translator fee should be paid when booking the exam.
But when I was booking my exam (in Anderlecht), I was never asked about it. Even in the confirmation email, there's nothing about an English test.
Do you know how this works?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Theory exam in English
In Flanders
it works like this :
When you register at the counter of the examination center for you theory exam, you indicate that you want an audio translation in English.
First: the question will always appear in Dutch on the screen of your computer. Then, you will receive an audio translation.
There is no additonal cost for the audio translation in English.
But I just looked at the website of the examination centre of Anderlecht. And Anderlecht is in the Brussels region.
in Anderlecht:

Apparently, the system is a bit different there.
Candidats who are not fluent in Dutch or in French, may take the test with the assistance of a certified translater for German or English. The interpreter is designated by the examination center.
I would advise you to contact the examination center personally in order to arrange the appointment for a theory exam with an interpreter :
Monday - Thursday : 7h15 to 16h
Phone number: 02 529 07 74
Address :Rue du Labeur 3/9, 1070 Anderlecht
Warning: additonal fee for a theoretical exam with interpreter = 50 euro !
Warning.
If you take your theory exam in Anderlecht, you can also take your practical exam at any examination center in Flanders.
But :
If you take your theory exam in Flanders, you cannot take your practical exam in Anderlecht, nor in Schaarbeek !

Re: Theory exam in English
Oops, I made a mistake in my original answer.
In Flanders, the cost price for the theory exam (cat B) will be :
* 19 euro for the theory exam.
* 42 euro additional surcharge for the audio transicription..
When you check in at the exam center, it is important to mention immediately that you wish to take
the exam with audio translation in English. (Flanders region).
