In both question i couldn't find any reason why overtaking is not allowed........
can anyone help me out

Please, this is basic theory. I noticed that you make exercices without reading or learning the theory.
It's important that you first learn the theory.

1. you may not overtake near and at a junction where you have to give priority (to right).

2. you may overtake because the broken line is at your side.
