Can you please clarify this sign. Reading the book it's not very clear whether you're allowed to drive or not. In the descroption of green filter arrow it says that oncoming taffic is held by the red light allowing driver to turn left. However, when explaining how to react, in the book it is written that you are not allowed to drive when this green filter arrow lit up?
Thank you in advance!

Re: green filter arrow (evacuation)
It's just an indication that traffic coming the other way has to stop for red - you should still take care and mind the opposing traffic flow. (*)Alina schreef:Can you please clarify this sign. The crossing evacuation arrow (stand-alone signal, pointing left, on the opposite side of the crossing) doesn't allow you onto the crossing if you're queueing to get onto the crossing.
Check the regular traffic lights on the entrance to the crossing to see wether or not you're allowed onto it.
(*) drivers running a red light have to yield to drivers who take a left turn though - it's just not always easy to prove the others ran a red light ...
