Can you please tell, is that prohibited to overtake in Belgium in a built up area in all the cases? Thank you in advance!

That's pretty generic Alina.

Overtaking is NOT generally prohibited in built up areas.

It is however prohibited
- when approaching traffic can't be seen from a safe distance
- on elevated road sections / speed bumps
- when approaching a pedestrian or bicycle crossing
- on crossroads with priority to the right or where you have to yield
- on railroad crossings without lights and barriers
- when approaching the crest of a hill or a corner, where visibility is insufficient (unless you can do so without crossing the road's centerline marking)
- where there's a no-overtaking sign Afbeelding
- you're not allowed to "triple", i.e. overtaking a vehicle that is already overtaking another vehicle (other than a two-wheeled vehicle) unless the road has 3 lanes or more in the direction you're following.
