I was testing today my car and I noticed in the back, it only turns on one fog light, on the left side. In the right side it does not turn on.
I asked in some forums and for the opel meriva it looks like its normal, even if the bulb is there.
According to regulations, only one side is enough, right?

Re: rear fog lights
A lot of cars have only 1 rear fog light. Perfectly legal.

Many cars have 2 bulbs fitted, despite having only one rear fog light operational !
You'll see this in cars with identical taillight units for LHD and RHD.
They arrive at the assembly plants completely outfitted with bulbs, and are fitted to either LHD or RHD cars.
In LHD cars the right bulbs then don't get connected because the wiring loom is different.
