Question 12574

Bericht door RS_2011 »

The question is asking if you are allowed to enter a street with the "Uitgezonderd plaatselijk verkeer" plate if the baker is in that street. The correct answer should be "No", right? As you are only allowed to enter such a street if if you are in:

1. the vehicles of the residents of that street and of the visitors of these residents
2. the vehicles for delivering goods or maintenance or supervision.
3. the emergency vehicles and priority vehicles
4. and cyclists and moped riders.

But it says the correct answer is "yes".

It is yes because as long as it isn't a pasthrough to another location but it is exactly the street where you need to be, you're allowed to enter.

Only if the baker lives in that street

"Uitgezonderd plaatselijk verkeer" (except local traffic) does NOT allow a driver to enter said street to visit a shop, a school

Even the police no longer understand the concept and meaning of "plaatselijk verkeer"
