Driving exams school zone rules

[ajay]

While taking practical driving exams at afternoon time like 11.30am, while crossing school zone (zone 30), are we expected to follow 30 kmph even if no school pupil are on road side? Or is zone30 rule really applicable only during school timings and other time, we can maintain 50 kmph (as per speed lilmit in builtup area)?
