2. [b]you may overtake[/b] because the broken line is at your side.

8223 : it's not allowed
8228 : it's allowed.

Please, this is basic theory. I noticed that you make exercices without reading or learning the theory.
It's important that you first learn the theory.

In both question i couldn't find any reason why overtaking is not allowed........
can anyone help me out
