Do you need to stop and give priority to the child?

"Answer is No" and in explanantion - It's mentioned you should be very careful. Ideally it should be YES.

Can you please explain?

In the explanation is not written: "Ideally it should be yes".
Pedestrians have priority on a zebra crossing.

The answer is NO

Pedestrians, including children, don't have priority when crossing a road
They actually have to yield to traffic on the road
