Question 12752

Bericht door VBordoloi »

Hi , question 12752 asks

"An accident with an injured person"
"A: If possible, move the car to clear the lane
B: You leave the car on the spot"

Correct: B

But in the lesson 29 _ Accidents it states that
"If there are only minor injuries: you park the vehicle in a place where it is allowed to stand. If that is not possible, or if there are serious injuries, then you do everything again to prevent more accidents from happening: Warning triangle; Warning lights; Turning off the engine; Don't smoke."

so, you see, nowhere does it states that you leave the car on the spot, it says if possible park the vehicle in a place it's allowed to stand. only incase if that's not possible or if there is serious injury, then you try to prevent more accidents.

the question asks, an accident with an injured person (doesnt mentioned minor or major), even if its a serious injury and it's possible to park somewhere, you will park it in safe place to prevent more accidents from happening. I feel the correct answer should be A as it has the word "If possible" in it.

When we specifically mention in the question that there is an injured person, we don't mean that he is bleeding a little on his thumb.
When there are injuries, it is best to leave the car on the place, so that the police can make the necessary determinations.
If you couldn't understand from te question whether it was a minor or a serious injury, don't decide it is a minor injury.
