There is thick fog and you park your car on the road. What is wrong:
1- the rear fog light must be lit
2- the parking lights and the rear red light must be lit
3- the front fog lights must be lit.

Answer given is 2.

In theory book you have said:
When you are stationary or park on the road or on the roadside: between the nightfall and the dawn of the day; and in all circumstances when it is no longer possible to see clearly to a distance of about 200 meters , should: front : one or two white or yellow parking lights are on at the back : one or two red lights are on.
Which lights can you use? In foggy weather, snowfall or strong rain, the dipped or pre-fog lights and also the rear fog lights may be used, but it should not be used.

As per these rules how is #2 correct? Something is wrong with the question.

So how is 2 the answer to the question? When the car is parked the parking lights and the rear red lights must be lit as per the theory given in the book.

Sorry I was not clear before. Here is why I think the answer is wrong.

There is a thick fog and you park the car on the road.
What’s wrong?

A. The rear fog light may be on.
B. The parking lights and the rear fog light must be lit.
C. The front fog lights may be on.

The question asks what is wrong. According to the book, 1 is wrong (the rear fog light must be on), 2 and 3 are correct. This means A should be the correct answer to this question.

But the correct answer given to this question by you is 2.

I hope I am clear this time :)

Hello GRO,

I finally understand what went wrong. I confused Question 8055 with Question 8037.

Also I thought the back red light and the rear fog light is the same thing.

Thanks for helping me understand it :).
