Drivers license from Colombia.

My name is Luis Valencia and I l am from Colombia and I have the international driver’s license, but as far as I understand its valid only for 3 months or while I get the Belgium ID.

I don’t have the Colombian driver license because its lost, however I can make a duplicate or I can make the Minister of Transport in Colombia to send me a proof that I have a valid license in Colombia (translated and apostilled).

I need to know if I can exchange the Colombian driver’s license for a Belgium one as somebody suggested me, or if I must take the tests and get a new driver’s license here.

You can use your International Driver's License when you are here as a tourist.
When you live here, it doesn't count anymore.

You cannot change a driver's license from Colombia for a Belgian license.

SO I can use it for 3 months maximum, thats what somebody told me.

I am going to buy your book, I already been told that I can present the exam in english for 50EU more.

But the practice one I need an interpreter, Where do I get an interpreter?
