Hi, I have a doubt regarding a question on the book.
Practice book - Lesson 6 question 14 :
"Until where does this speed limit apply? (Picture of built up are sign + 30km sign on top)
Correct Answer : Until you leave the built up area."
However, on the theory book, page 43 (Tip examination)
"The onlyexception is when a trasffic sign imposes on or past the start sign of a built up area another speed limit.
In this example, drivers are allowed to drive 70kph until the next junction."
Why there is another answer on the practice book? Could you please explain?
Thank you so much in advance!
Built up area speed limit
Re: Built up area speed limit
That's correctAnna Luísa schreef: ↑20 nov 2022, 17:26 (Picture of built up are sign + 30km sign on top)
Correct Answer : Until you leave the built up area."
But the (30) sign is the only one where this applies
ONLY for the (30) speed limit sign
ONLY IF it's put right above the built-up area sign
These have become very rare though
I readily knew just one, but even that one's gone now
This (70) sign ends at the next junction (or next speed sign, other speed zone, ...):However, on the theory book, page 43 (Tip examination)

This zone 30 ends where the zone 30 normally ends :
There's not much logic to it, it's just the way the lawmakers made it ...
