Direct license (practical after 30h) for residents outside Brussels?

Bericht door Rddsmmv »

Hello,
Is it possible for a resident of Antwerp to have the practical exam in Brussels to go for direct license (after 30 hours training)?
Thank you.

It's not legally ruled out but ....... it's not made easy either

Check with your local government if they will issue a driver's licence when you do that

To do practical exam in BXL, you must do theory exam there as well
Oh, and they require a first aid course (physical or online)

It's been an issue since the beginning

The Raad van State has since cancelled the 9 month training period in Flanders before doing the practical exam, but it's 3 months now (as it was before Flanders illegally changed it to 9)

Flanders has no direct access scheme however
Which means you have no temporary licence
Which means you don't qualify for the Flemish requirements to be issued a permanent licence
So they still might have you waiting for 3 months after passing the test ...
So: check with the local council first :!:
