Can anybody tell me, what are the types of roads available in Belgium?
In other words, types of roads categorized with letters? (Ex. E.., N.., A..)

Motorways - which have an A... and/or E... number

National road (N...) which essentially means nothing special anymore

Ringroads - R.. which can either be part of a motorway or a regular road


The designator means nothing to a road user, as the status of a road is identified by traffic signs when appropriate

Oh, and F..
for Fietssnelweg or Fiets-o-strade or "cycle highway", a new network of main cycling routes, mainly in Flanders
