Hello Team,

In this question, the green signal is on which is on the right side of the white car.

Answer should be B. White car as there are signals which are working.

If no signals and no signs then Red car will have priority. ( even when reversed triangle or stop sign is there on right side of white car then white car should stop)

Could you please explain me how answer is A. Red Car?

Jozef

Whether there are traffic lights, priority signs or none of both: if you turn to the left, you must always give right of way to each vehicle which comes from the opposite direction.

Hello Joseph,

Thanks for the reply but we dont know the signal of Red Car is red or green. So the white Car has Green light and should have priority.

Isn't It?

Dear,

Before turning to the left, you must always make sure that, by doing so, you will not impede or endanger a driver who comes to you in the opposite direction. You don't know if the traffic light for that driver is red, so you cannot rely on it.

The only meaning of a green traffic light is
groen licht betekent dat het verkeerslicht mag voorbijgereden worden
translated: a green light means that you are allowed to pass the traffic light.

That's all there is. A green traffic light doesn't grant whatever kind of priority.

After making so many test questions, I thought you already understood the drawings.
There is an arrow in front of the red car and an arrow in front of the white one. That means that both cars are allowed to drive.
If the traffic light next to the red car was red, you would not see an arrow in front of the red car. In that case, the question was not:' who has priority', because only the white car may drive.
