Here in question 8629, car is very close to the crossings and we should not park and wait within 5m of the crossing then how the answer C is correct here( yes, he must)??? Answer should be No, he is not ( A option) Could you please clarify this ASAP.

So in question, it is written that the picture is taken within a built up area and asked If we can park the car on the raised verge?
So we are not allowed to the park car on the raised verge in bult up area. We can park only on ground level verge.
So, why the option C is correct here.

Our intention is to show a ground-level verge.
The rules are:
In a built up area: on the ground-level verge
Outside a buil up area: on the ground-level verge or on the raised verge
