Re: Speedlimit Flanders vs Wallonia,Brussels
Much of it is wrong ...
Re: Speedlimit Flanders vs Wallonia,Brussels
For vehicles category B only
Unless otherwise indicated (slower or faster) by road signs
(Lower limitations apply for other types of vehicles)
Motorway
120 everywhere
Regardless of the number of lanes
Inside Built-up areas
50 everywhere
Outside built-up areas:
Road, 2 or more lanes in either direction, physical separation:
120 everywhere
All other roads:
Flanders 70
Wallonia+BXL 90
Lot simpler that way, but our legislators decided to make a mess of it ...
Anywhere :
30 kph on reserved roads and on properly indicated speedbumps
20 kph in a "(woon)erf"
Walking pace (around 5 kph) in a pedestrian area
Unless otherwise indicated (slower or faster) by road signs
