In 2713, the skeeler wants to cross the road that the car is already driving on
Both are on different roads to start

As a pedestrian, the skeeler has to yield to traffic on the roadway
If the skeeler is fast enough to be regarded as a cyclist, he has to yield to the car coming from the right

( :!: Note that in real-life situations like this, the skeeler might be on a cycling path that you can't see or identify from the car driver's perspective ... very dangerous as this changes priority once again :!: )

In 12294, the car and pedestrians start on the same road, but the car is making a change of direction, and wants to turn into the road the pedestrians are about to cross.
That means the car has to yield to the pedestrians.

You can also look at this situation from the pedestrian perspective:
They continue on the road they were following, while the car wants to leave that same road.

General rule:

As a driver / rider, you have to yield to traffic continuing on its merry way along (other parts of) the road that you want to leave.

May I ask to someone who could tell me, why they are different cases?

Is the car in the question 2713 going to straight ahead, which was not in the question..?

Thanks!

They are not simular. Check very well the place of the car on the intersection.

To me, these 2 questions are very similar situation but different answers.
Is not Q2713 applied to "straight-traffic has priority" ?
Maybe the child is not counted as pedestrian?

Question 2713
Who has priority?
A; the child
B; the car -> The answer

Question 12294
The red car wants to turn right. Who has priority?
A; the car
B; the pedestrians -> the answer
