This is explained step by step in lesson 2.

If you see an orange and white line together, the orange line counts.

The car should be allowed to overtake from the left as the broken white line is on the side of the car.and the solid yellow line is on other side.also we should consider solid yellow line same as solid white line.
Please let me know if this is not correct.
